Quality over quantity
Most of the time, potential clients engage with us because they want more leads or sales. We are incredibly adept at delivering both, but what if your business has too many leads? You might be thinking, “too many leads, that’s impossible!” But what if over 50% of your leads were unqualified to be your customer? Imagine the time and resources you would essentially be wasting on unqualified prospects. As leaders in the cellular signal enhancement industry, JDTECK had just such a problem, so we set out to redefine their brand story and create a dynamic website to help them attract ideal customers.
Attracting ideal customers
Before we could even begin to figure out the key to attracting JDTECK’s ideal customers, we had to uncover who they are. Using our proprietary branding process, The MAVEN Method™, we were able to peel back the layers of the business and discover that JDTECK’s ideal customers are IT professionals. Specifically, IT people in the retail, government, enterprise, medical, and hospitality industries. Armed with this knowledge, we embarked on an extensive research campaign to gain an in-depth understanding of what makes them tick.
What makes a brand valuable?
Like all brands today, JDTECK faces a crowded marketplace and an overwhelmed consumer base. However, for the kind of businesses that JDTECK works with, reliable cell isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. It’s our job to create a brand story that cuts through marketplace clutter and clearly separates them from the competition, so we worked with JDTECK’s leadership team to discover their competitive advantages. Then, we compared those advantages with our extensive customer research to find where they overlap and used those insights to create a compelling value proposition.
A brand with purpose...
Being valuable to your customers is important, but we needed to dig deeper to discover what makes JDTECK absolutely essential to their ideal customers. The core belief that both JDTECK and their customers share is that “a connected world is a better world.” Next, we asked ourselves why that is true: why is a connected world a better world for this brand and their customers? As it turns out, it’s true because, in the connected world we live in, being “connected” paradoxically gives us the freedom we need to be wherever we need to be while staying connected to the people that need us most. Using this as inspiration, we created the tagline “freedom for the mobile you.”
A website built for IT professionals
As website designers, we seek to find the perfect balance between the image our client wants to portray and the likes, dislikes, and motivations of their ideal customers. After all, your website is yours, but it’s for your customers! In our extensive research process, we discovered some valuable insights into IT people. Firstly and most importantly, they are extremely task-oriented. The average IT professional gets 60 support tickets a day, so when they are searching the web for products or services, they want information—and they want it fast. Secondly, and perhaps most surprisingly, we discovered that when seeking tech related services outside their own expertise, IT professionals prefer them to be complete and turn-key. Both of these factors served as inspiration in the website design process. We designed a clean, modern website that made getting the critical information desired by the customer priority number one.
More than a website - a marketing tool
JDTECK is a unique business that offers turn-key cellular signal enhancement services to a diverse set of markets, ranging from the military to hotels. Because of our deep knowledge and experience in the website design industry, we knew we needed to create a way for JDTECK to speak directly to each of these diverse markets. We accomplished this goal by building an updatable case study tool on the website that’s easily managed by JDTECK’s team.
